ABOUT US

Our family runs a diversified farming and ranching operation in Canadian County, Oklahoma, east of Geary. Our herd consists of 2,000 commercial cows, mostly Angus and Lim-Flex genetics with some Brangus and Charolais-cross. Most recently, we have taken ownership of the entire Magness Land & Cattle Co. registered Limousin and Lim-Flex herd. Given the expansion of our herd, the potential for our program to reach a higher level has never been greater.

Limousin and Lim-Flex bulls have been our go-to for more than 20 years. Our program is primarily a spring-calving operation. The calves are run on wheat after weaning each fall, then sold as yearlings in the spring. These Limousin-cross cattle are highly sought after each spring by repeat customers eager to get the all-natural yearlings with Limousin growth and muscle.

David Phillips was awarded the 2017 Oklahoma Limousin Breeders Association Commercial Producer of the Year Award. In 2018, David Phillips was named the National Commercial Producer of the Year by the North American Limousin Foundation.

We are looking forward to the future with our grandson, Tripp, now in the show ring. His first Junior Nationals was in 2023 and it was a great experience for us all. We invite you to follow our continued progress in the Limousin breed. We are excited to see what the future holds.
